What is Derbac M?
Derbac M is a treatment used to kill head lice and scabies mites. The active ingredient is malathion, which works by killing lice and their eggs.
Who is Derbac M suitable for?
This product may be suitable for:
- Adults
- Children over 6 months old
- People with head lice or scabies
Do not use this product if you are allergic to malathion or any of the ingredients.
How to use Derbac M
Always use this product as directed on the packaging.
For head lice:
- Apply to dry hair, ensuring full coverage of the scalp and hair
- Leave on for 12 hours or overnight
- Wash out and comb through with a fine-tooth comb
For scabies:
- Apply to the whole body (except the face)
- Leave on for 24 hours, then wash off
- Repeat treatment after 7 days if needed
How to store Derbac M
- Store below 25°C
- Keep in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from heat or open flames
- Keep out of sight and reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date on the packaging
Some people may experience:
- Skin irritation
- Itching
- Redness
