Who is it suitable for?
Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel is suitable for:
- Babies aged 6 months and over who are teething
Do not use in babies under 6 months.
Do not use if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients.
If your baby is taking other medicines, speak to your pharmacist or doctor before use.
How to use
- Wash your hands.
- Place a small amount of gel onto a clean fingertip.
- Gently massage onto the sore area of your baby’s gums.
- Replace the cap tightly after use.
Use 3 to 5 times a day, preferably after meals and before bedtime.
Do not exceed the recommended amount.
If irritation occurs, stop using the product and seek medical advice.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or dentist.
How to store
- Store below 25°C
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Do not use after the expiry date
- Use within 30 days of opening
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children
Side effects
The most common side effect is mild irritation or redness at the application site.
Rarely, a serious allergic reaction may occur. Signs may include:
- Rash
- Swelling
- Your child seeming unwell after use
If this happens, stop using the gel and seek medical help immediately.
