This double action sugar free gel leaves a cool minty flavor in the mouth making the application of the medication much more palatable. Bonjela cool mints contain 2 active ingredients choline salicylate and cetalkonium chloride. Choline salicylate is a painkiller that helps with inflammation and cetalkonium chloride is an antiseptic that helps reduce bacteria and the subsequent likelihood of infection. In conjunction these two components provide fast acting effective relief from many oral conditions. Suitable for adults and children above the age of 16.
How to Apply Adult Cool Mint?
Before using bonjela adult cool mint make sure you wash your hands thoroughly to minimize the likelihood of further infecting the sore/affected area.apply a small amount to your finger roughly half an inch onto the sore area and gently massage in.For relief of denture pain apply roughly half an inch of the gel to the sore area and leave for around 30 minutes before reinserting dentures. Bonjela cool mint should not be applied directly to dentures The gel should be applied no more than once every 3 hours.
