Introduction


Tiger Balm is an all round flexible ointment that has been used for many centuries, dating back to the Chinese dynasty. This was created to provide a treatment for aches, congestion and colds, specifically curated with essential oils to give your body a comforting and soothing sensation.


What is Tiger Balm? and What Does it Do?

Tiger Balm is an ointment formulated to soothe and alleviate pain. Tiger Balm includes specific ingredients, including camphor and menthol that are beneficial for reducing sores and aches in your muscles and joints. Tiger Balm is catered to provide a soothing and cooling remedy, a temporary relief which can also be used to ease a cold or chest congestion.
Tiger Balm can be used for:
  • Muscle and joint pain
  • Back Pain
  • Cold and congestion
  • Neck and shoulder tension


Who Can Use Tiger Balm?


Tiger Balm can be used by adults and children over the age of 2.


How to Use Tiger Balm?


If you have not used this ointment before, a skin patch test should be done to ensure this does not cause any allergic reactions with your skin.


  1. Make sure to wash your hands before and after using this product.
  2. Twist the lid open and using your fingers, take a pea sized amount. 
  3. Softly rub the ointment on the affected area until this has been massaged into your skin.
  4. Repeat this process 3-4 times a day, every 6-8 hours to help relieve the pain.


Precautions

Tiger Balm is to be used only for your skin. Do not apply Tiger Balm if your skin is sunburnt, if there are any open cuts or wounds as this may cause further irritation. Do not apply Tiger Balm to the face or to other sensitive areas such as the eyes.

Side Effects

With any medication, there may be possible side effects. In rare cases, it may cause: itchiness, redness, a burning sensation, skin irritation and breathing difficulties. If you experience any of these symptoms, contact your doctor as soon as possible to seek medical attention.
