Introduction

Deep heat is the UK’s top selling heat brand for offering a dual action of pain relief and heat remedy for muscular aches, soreness and pain.

What is Deep Heat and What is it Used For?

Deep Heat comes in different forms to generate warmth in sore or injured muscles and to relieve the ache or soreness you may be feeling.
Deep heat contains ingredients similar to aspirin as is known to be an effective painkiller. Deep heat contains both warming and anti-inflammatory properties to draw more blood to the affected muscles allowing your body to repair any damage and remedy your muscle aches and pains.
They also help to ease any tight or knotted muscles and can be used before and after an exercise.

Who Can Use This?

Deep heat is suitable for adults and children over the age of 5.  If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is best to only initiate this medication under the supervision of your GP.

How to Use and How Often?

This medicine is to be used only on your skin and due to the different forms this product is available in, there are few different techniques on how to use this product:

Deep Heat Rub - Gently massage this onto the affected area until the cream is absorbed. Apply a fine layer to the skin 2 to 3 times daily and make sure to wash your hands before and after use.

Deep Heat Spray - Shake the bottle well before use and make sure that the nozzle is working properly. Hold and press the nozzle no less than 15 cm from the sore area and spray 2-3 times.

You are not required to massage this product in, but we do advise to cover your face if you are using this around the neck or shoulders. This process can be repeated up to 3 times a day. Make sure to wash your hands before and after use.
