What is Infacol?
Infacol contains simeticone, which helps relieve trapped wind in babies. It works by reducing the surface tension of small gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines so they join together into larger bubbles. This makes gas easier to pass by burping or passing wind, which can reduce discomfort linked to colic.
Who is Infacol suitable for?
Infacol can be used from birth.
Seek advice before use if your baby is very young and you are unsure, or if symptoms are severe, persistent, or getting worse.
Do not use if your baby is allergic to any of the ingredients. Stop using and seek urgent medical help if you notice signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, swelling, or breathing difficulty.
