What is Piles?

Piles, otherwise known as haemorrhoids are lumps that are found on the inside and around your anus. Haemorrhoids develop when the veins in your lower anus and rectum become swollen, as a result, you may experience certain symptoms such as:

  • Bleeding after you defecate

  • Lumps in or around your anus

  • Pain or discomfort around the anus

  • Slimy discharge in your underwear or after wiping

  • Itchiness or soreness around your anus

  • A feeling of still needing the toilet after you have already gone.

If you have haemorrhoids, they normally get better on their own with good diet and lifestyle adaptations, however Anusol is available to  treat active irritation caused by piles.

What is Germoloids cream used for?

Germoloids cream is a water based formula that soothes the symptoms you experience if you have piles(haemorrhoids). The cream moisturises and eases discomfort, itchiness and pain in order to provide a quick recovery for piles. The cream contains zinc oxide and lidocaine hydrochloride, both key ingredients that speed up the process of healing by protecting your skin from infection and reducing the swelling of enlarged piles.

How to use the cream

This is for topical use only and is to be applied only to the affected area.

Apply the cream at least twice a day, applications can be made any time of the day, however it is recommended to use after a bowel movement.

Do not apply this more than four times within the 24 hour period.

Before and after use, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly.

Make sure to wash the anal area and lightly dry the area with a soft towel.

For internal use:
Use the nozzle and place this onto the applicator.

Carefully insert this into the opening of the anus and slowly squeeze the tube for the cream to come out.

Once the cream has spread, take out the nozzle from the anus and clean the nozzle after every use.

What is Germoloids ointment?

Germoloids ointment contains an anaesthetic known as lidocaine hydrochloride that is specifically aimed to numb and ease symptoms of piles, such as discomfort, itchiness or pain.

This oil formulation moisturises and alleviates the affected area, and contains zinc oxide which aids in shrinking enlarged piles and protects your skin from infection.
