Benylin Chesty Cough medicine is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over who have a chesty cough.
You should not use Benylin Chest Cough (Non-Drowsy) medicine if you are allergic to guaifenesin, levomenthol, or other ingredients contained in this medication.
You should speak to your GP or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you:
- Have liver or kidney problems
- Have an intolerance to sugars
- Suspect your cough may be related to asthma
- Drink alcohol
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
How to take Benylin Chesty Cough Medicine (Non-Drowsy)
You should always take Benylin Chesty Cough medicine as advised by your GP or pharmacist and refer to the patient information leaflet.
Adults and children aged 12 and over
Take two 5ml spoonfuls four times a day. Do not take more than four doses in 24 hours.

- Keep out of the sight and reach of children
- Store out of direct sunlight

- Hives
- An itchy rash
- Difficulty breathing
