Telfast (Fexofenadine tablets) are prescription strength hay fever tablets used to help treat and prevent the symptoms of hay fever. Telfast is the branded form of fexofenadine tablets. Fexofenadine tablets are also available generically and are medically equivalent and just as effective as the branded form but available at a lower price.
How to take Telfast
It is often recommended to take one 120mg tablet daily with water before a meal however doses may vary and the advise of your prescriber should be sought before initiating treatment
Like all medicines, Telfast can cause side effects but not everyone gets them. Common side effects (may affect up to 1 in 10 people)include:
headache, drowsiness, feeling sick (nausea) and dizziness. Uncommon side effects (may affect up to 1 in 100 people)include:
