What is the Canesten Oral Thrush Capsule?

Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule is a treatment used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). It contains fluconazole 150 mg, an antifungal medicine that works by stopping the growth of the yeast that causes the infection.

The capsule works throughout the body to treat the infection and relieve the uncomfortable symptoms of thrush.

It can help relieve symptoms such as:

  • Vaginal itching and irritation
  • Soreness around the vagina
  • Thick white discharge associated with thrush
  • Burning sensation during urination
  • General discomfort in the vaginal area

This medicine is available without a prescription.

Canesten Oral Thrush Capsule can be taken by:

  • Women aged 16 to 60 years who have previously been diagnosed with vaginal thrush
  • Adults experiencing the typical symptoms of thrush

This product is not suitable for:

  • Women under 16 or over 60 without medical advice
  • Anyone allergic to fluconazole or other antifungal medicines
