Ultra Chloraseptic offers a solution to ease and soothe your sore throat, minimising feeling of discomfort caused by coughing or irritation allowing you to get a good night's sleep.Ultra Chloraseptic contains the active ingredient benzocaine, an anaesthetic that creates a numbing effect within seconds.This product is aimed to relieve your sore throat such that your symptoms lessen overtime allowing your throat to heal. The spray is small and compact, making it easy to carry around throughout the day for regular use.
This is suitable for adults and children over the age of 6.
How to Use?
Make sure to carefully read the instructions on the package before use.
Remove the protective cap
Turn the nozzle to the ‘on’ point
Spray the liquid three times to the back of the throat
For children aged between 6 - 12, one spray should be applied
Hold your breath when spraying and grip the nozzle just outside your mouth
Use this spray every two to three hours, but no more than 8 times during the day. Ultra Chloraseptic can be used for a maximum of 3 days, if symptoms still persist, consult your doctor for medical advice.
Side Effects
Like with all medication, some people may experience side effects these include:
Drowsiness
Headache
Change in heartbeat
Allergic reaction
If you do experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately. If the side effects causes excess discomfort or are persistent discontinue use and consult your doctor for further advise
Precautions
Ultra Chloraseptic should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Ultra Chloraseptic if the following apply to you if you have:
Breathing difficulties
Severe difficulty with swallowing
A blood condition called methemoglobinemia
