What are Wind-eze Gel Capsules?

Wind-eze Gel Capsules contain simeticone 125 mg, an anti-flatulence medicine used to relieve stomach pain and bloating caused by trapped wind. It works by dispersing tiny gas bubbles in the gut, making them easier to pass.

Who are Wind-eze Gel Capsules suitable for?

Wind-eze Gel Capsules can be used by adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Do not take Wind-eze Gel Capsules if:

  • You are allergic to simeticone or any of the ingredients
  • You use mineral oil laxatives
  • You are under 12 years

Important for online purchasing:

  • If symptoms persist for more than 14 days or worsen, you should seek medical advice.
  • If you take levothyroxine for a thyroid condition, Wind-eze may reduce how much is absorbed.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a doctor for advice before using.

How to take Wind-eze Gel Capsules

Take Wind-eze Gel Capsules exactly as directed on the leaflet.

Typical dose for adults and children aged 12 years and over

  • Swallow 1 capsule with water, 3 or 4 times daily, after meals and at bedtime as needed.
  • Do not exceed the stated dose.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years.

If you forget to take a dose

Take a dose when you remember if you still need symptom relief, then continue as needed. Do not take extra capsules to make up for a missed dose.

If you take more than you should

If you take more than the recommended amount, or feel unwell, seek medical advice. Call 111 for urgent advice if needed, or 999 in an emergency.

How to store Wind-eze Gel Capsules

  • Do not store above 25°C
  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children
  • Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack
