What is Anusol Cream?

Anusol Cream is used to help relieve discomfort around the back passage. It helps soothe irritated skin, reduce swelling, and protect the area while it heals.

It can be used for:

  • Internal and external haemorrhoids (piles)
  • Anal itching or irritation
  • Small anal fissures
  • Minor soreness or inflammation around the back passage
  • Lubrication before inserting suppositories
  • Use after anorectal surgery if advised by a healthcare professional

Active ingredients: Zinc oxide, bismuth oxide, balsam Peru, and benzyl benzoate

These ingredients work together to soothe, protect, reduce irritation, and support natural healing.

Who is Anusol Cream suitable for?

This product is suitable for:

Adults aged 18 years and over

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have bleeding, severe pain, or symptoms you have not had before.

How to use Anusol Cream

  • Wash the area gently with warm water and pat dry
  • Wash your hands before and after use

For external piles:

  • Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area around the outside of the back passage

For internal piles:

  • Use the nozzle provided if needed
  • Screw the nozzle onto the tube
  • Gently insert the nozzle just inside the back passage
  • Squeeze the tube to apply a small amount of cream
  • Wash the nozzle with warm water and soap after use

Important tips:

  • Use only as directed
  • Use only in the anal area
  • Stop using the cream if it causes burning, irritation, or discomfort
  • If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or get worse, speak to a doctor or pharmacist

How to store Anusol Cream

  • Store at room temperature
  • Keep the tube tightly close
  • Store in a cool, dry place
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children
  • Do not use after the expiry date
