What are Clarityn Allergy Tablets?

Clarityn Allergy 10mg tablets are used to help relieve common allergy symptoms.The active ingredient, loratadine, works by blocking histamine, a chemical in the body that triggers allergy symptoms. This helps reduce discomfort and makes allergy symptoms easier to manage.

Clarityn can be used for the following:

  • Sneezing
  • Runny or itchy nose
  • Itchy or watery eyes
  • Skin itching and redness
  • Hives (chronic urticaria)

Active ingredient: Loratadine

Key point: Usually non-drowsy, so you can continue daily activities while managing allergy symptoms.

Who can take Clarityn Allergy Tablets

Clarityn is suitable for:

Adults and children aged 12 years and older

How to take Clarityn

For adults and children over 12 years:

Take one tablet once a day,swallow the tablet with a glass of water. You can take Clarityn with or without food.

Important:

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Only take one tablet in 24 hours, unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you otherwise.

How to store Clarityn

  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
  • Store below 30°C.
  • Keep the tablets in the original packaging to protect from moisture.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the carton or blister pack.
  • Do not dispose of medicines in household waste or wastewater. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unused tablets.

Like all medicines, Clarityn can cause side effects, but not everyone will get them.

  • Headache
  • Feeling tired or sleepy
  • Dry mouth
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness

In children aged 6 to 12 years, the most commonly reported side effects are headache, and tiredness.

If any side effects persist or worsen, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.
