What are Cl-ear Ear Pain Relief Ear Drops?

Cl-ear Ear Pain Relief Ear Drops are an over-the-counter treatment used to relieve discomfort in the outer ear canal.

They are designed to provide temporary relief from:

  • Ear pain
  • Itching and irritation
  • Swelling of the ear canal
  • Discomfort caused by trapped water (for example after swimming)
  • Irritation from headphones, earbuds, or dry skin
  • Minor moisture-related swelling or irritation

Cl-ear contains lidocaine hydrochloride 0.5%, a local anaesthetic that helps numb pain and itching. It is formulated in glycerol which helps soothe, moisturise, and reduce swelling by drawing out excess moisture from the ear canal.

Cl-ear Ear Relief is a General Sales List (GSL) product and is available without a prescription.
