What is Fexofenadine?
Fexofenadine is the generic formulation of Telfast tablets. Fexofenadine tablets are a prescription strength hay fever treatment used to help treat and prevent the symptoms of hay fever. Telfast is the branded form of fexofenadine tablets. Fexofenadine tablets are also available generically and are medically equivalent and just as effective as the branded form but available at a lower price.
How do I take Fexofenadine?
It is recommended to take one 120mg tablet daily with water before a meal.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects but not everyone gets them.
Common side effects (may affect up to 1 in 10 people):
headache
drowsiness
feeling sick (nausea)
dizziness
Uncommon side effects (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):
tiredness
sleepiness
